Membership is just £11.50 per month (which includes two regular meetings and also includes any supplementary meetings & training events). This works out at less than 3 Starbuck’s Grande White Caffe Mochas, 2 McDonald’s Chicken Legend meals, or just 1 Papa John's Small 8” Pizza, so not only will you become a better speaker, but if you spend your pennies with us instead, we can make you thinner* too. (*This isn’t guaranteed, but we’ll try 😁).
Owing to how Toastmasters International works (it’s not us), dues must be paid in lump sums twice a year, at the end of March and September, no matter when people join the club. This means that the dues change depending on when you join (see chart below). After your first six months of membership, when the next March or September comes around, you can choose to continue paying in six-monthly lump sums or pay monthly by direct debit via GoCardless.

We take payments by BACS transfer and PayPal once you’ve completed the form, or you can pay by credit or debit card at a meeting.

What do we do with your dues?
Didsbury Speakers is a non-profit club; all membership fees are used towards furthering the club’s & Toastmasters’ aims.
$7.50 of the monthly fee is paid directly to Toastmasters International to cover your Toastmaster magazine subscription, administration of educational achievements and development of new educational materials. The remainder of the money is used by Didsbury Speakers for overheads including: a zoom licence, venue hire, winners ribbons and awards, printed meeting and marketing materials.
As a member of Didsbury Speakers, you'll be joining 364,000 other Toastmasters around the world, and as a bonus you'll be able to visit any of the other 16,600 Toastmaster groups, at no extra cost, wherever you are in the world.
